Thursday evening the Sisters of Saint Joseph along with the Sisters of
Mercy hosted a talk about climate change at the SSJ Motherhouse. In
honor of Pope Francis' visit and his focus on the environment, "Flat
Francis" made an appearance at the event.

Sister Phyllis, SSJ Justice and
Peace Coordinator says "we had an awesome crowd." The featured speaker was Dr. Gerry Gacioch. Dr. Gacioch is Chief of Cardiology at
Rochester General Hospital and he also happens to be one of 30 U.S.
Climate Ambassadors around
the country Dr. Gacioch travels the country and gives climate talks. Dr. Gacioch's climate talk was one of many planned events in Rochester marking the Pope's important visit. To find other local interfaith activities look for
